Beyond Project Management

Project Management is one of the key skills for managing successful strategy implementation. It is the discipline of initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing the work of a team to achieve specific goals. The course will introduce and cover the basic tools and understanding of “How to” successfully manage a project from idea generation, proposition, monitory, to project closure with on-time, on-budget, and goal focused as well as tips for managing team and stakeholders.

Design thinking concepts are applied with project management discussion to guide participants step by step on how to develop project plan through execution once market analysis is comprehended.

Effective team management is crucial in managing business operations and projects today, from both art and science perspectives. As more and more organizations are flat and crossed functional, building an effective teamwork increases the success rate of the business.

Throughout the course, participants will be involved in discussions and participated in various hands-on project activities. Real life international and domestic project experiences, pains, conflicts, failures, and successes will be shared to address key learning points, including tips for managing stakeholders in reality throughout different stages of the project.

Supply Chain and Logistics Management

The course is designed to introduce the basic concepts of Supply Chain and Logistics Management to the participants with various professional experiences. The session covers the discussion of the Supply Chain (Networks) and Logistics (Activities) Management in our day-to-day environment, followed by major concepts and real life industrial implementations.

The five major key supply chain and logistics modules, from sourcing, manufacturing, wholesale, retail, and customers with distribution are discussed throughout the course with key concepts of Demand Management, Inventory Management, Supply Chain Performance Measurement, Financial Analysis, IT Data Management, Order Management, Customer Service Management, Transportation, and Distribution.

A wide range of industrial examples, both local and international will be discussed to provide different problem solving perspectives as key learning points. Participants will also gain the hands-on experience through the in-class discussions, activities, and presentations.

Modern Business Management

Modern Business Management course is designed to provide the fundamental understanding of business analysis in 360- degree perspective, equipped with tools and approaches to effectively and efficiently manage, grow, and sustain businesses in today’s highly competitive environment.

Course roadmap covers Industry Analysis, Benchmarking, Vision, Mission, Marketing Mix, CRM, Strategic Planning, Performance Measurement (KPI and OKR), Contingency Planning, including SWOT and TOWS analysis. Design thinking cycle concept is also introduced to help provide a solution- based approach to solving problems.

This course will help broaden the view and understanding of the participants in term of how the external (threats and opportunities) and internal (weaknesses and strengths) functions can be analyze to create the most effective and efficient business strategy in order to achieve the highest possible performance results.

Various industrial examples, both local and international will be discussed to provide different problem solving perspectives as key learning points. Participants will also gain the hands-on experience through the in-class discussions, activities, and real-life business case analysis.
